The MQB range of vehicles from Audi, VW, Skoda, Seat and Cupra have the 2.0 TFSI variant of the EA888 model which in standard form develops 240 to 310 BHP from its inline 4 cylinder turbocharged petrol engine.
In general, the engine and its ancillaries (turbocharger, fuel pump, injectors etc) are common to all models in the range and only the software contained in the cars ECU dictates the power output. Some models are therefore said to be a de-tuned version of their more powerful counterparts so they have much to offer in terms of tuning potential.

What is the TayTec Tuning Stage 1+ Package
We build around Stage 1 ECU tuning software from Viezu Performance Tuning by adding the following performance tuning parts:
· Performance panel air filter or induction kit
· Modified air intake duct
· Uprated silicone turbo intake hose
· Uprated turbo inlet/elbow

What is the TayTec Tuning difference?
Like many cars the OEM air intake system is not only a narrow diameter but is uneven and restrictive. You can see the difference between the OEM plastic intake and the CNC machined billet aluminium version we use:

Our stage 1 remap is proven to produce around 365 BHP and 480 Nm* and you can reasonably expect at least another 8-10 BHP on top of these figures with the addition of the tuning mods we install as part of the package. Not only that, but you will instantly feel the benefit of a free flowing engine with faster turbo spool up times and crisper throttle response.

TCU Tuning for DSG Gearbox
The perfect way to enjoy the benefits of our Stage 1+ Package for DSG equipped cars is to incorporate a gearbox TCU (Transmission Control Unit) remap.
Many parameters are adjusted to maximise the gear shift points and align the gearbox to operate seamlessly with the new engine ECU software.
This is a step either not offered or overlooked but the difference is instantly noticeable and we recommend it for all DSG and DCT gearboxes when an ECU remap is carried out.
