Who We are:

​You are entering into an agreement with Taytec Tuning Limited, a company registered in Scotland, with company number: SC742013.  

​Any references to Taytec Tuning, “the company”, “we”, “our” and “us” throughout these Terms and Conditions refer to the Company identified above.

These Terms and Conditions become binding between the Company and You, the customer, upon booking your vehicle in for services.  These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

Provision of Services:​

We will gather certain information from you which is necessary for us to provide a quote and subsequent services. Examples include the make, model, registration, engine code and mileage of your vehicle. We will not be liable for any delay or issue where you have failed to provide accurate information.

Customer Responsibilities:

​It remains the customer’s responsibility to ensure the vehicle is in full working order with no underlying faults.  We make no representations or warranties that the services and products we supply will not cause damage to your vehicle, for any reason, as an example as a result of an underlying fault or lack of servicing.

Prior to carrying out any software tuning to a vehicle, we will carry out a basic inspection and diagnostic scan, the results of which we retain.  We do not make any representations or warranties that this inspection will identify any/all underlying defects of your vehicle which may cause a component to fail after software tuning has been carried out. 

In circumstances where we find the condition of your vehicle to be incompatible with safe tuning, we will advise you accordingly and should you choose to proceed, you do so at your own risk.

​Higher mileage vehicles or those which show evidence of poor maintenance are examples of where we may advise you not to proceed. 

We accept no liability for any damage caused, directly or indirectly, to your vehicle (including its subcomponents) or any financial loss or expense incurred in the process of utilising our services.


We make no representations or warranties that our services will not expose or worsen a previously unknown fault or weakness with your vehicle and its components, even should this result in a component failure

We make no representations or warranties that the use of our products and services will not invalidate any manufacturers or 3rd party warranty you may currently have in place.  The onus is on You to establish any implication on your chosen warranty product.

30 Day Guarantee:
TayTec Tuning Ltd provide a 30-day money back guarantee on software. If you are not satisfied with the work carried out, we will return your vehicle to standard software and provide you with a refund of the full price.

The conditions of this guarantee identify that you are responsible for presenting the vehicle at the same location as the work was originally carried out at.

Payment:
All payments using cleared funds are due immediately on completion of any works.  We are happy to accept cash, bank transfer or card payments.

Blue-Optimize Remap:
The Blue Optimize fuel saving remap service we provide aims to assist in reducing the fuel consumption of your vehicle.  It must be understood by You that the vehicle needs to be driven in accordance with our advice to achieve the best results.

We do not guarantee fuel saving figures as they are dependent on the manner in which the vehicle is driven, the load it is carrying, atmospheric conditions, and many other variables.  Any indication of expected fuel savings is based on significant testing and development but is provided for estimate purposes only.

Blend Remap:
The Blend remap service we provide aims to increase the overall Power and Torque of the vehicle.

We do not guarantee the quoted BHP or Torque figures and although based on rigorous testing and development on a rolling road, they are given as indication purposes only.

Stage-1 Performance Remap:
The Stage 1 Performance Remap service we provide aims to increase BHP and Torque as far as safely practical on stock hardware components.

We do not guarantee the quoted BHP or Torque figures and although based on rigorous testing and development on a rolling road, they are given as indication purposes only.

Insurance implication:
We advise all clients that it is their responsibility alone to notify their insurance company of any work carried out to their vehicle. 

Liability:
In the event of personal injury, property or equipment damage arising after the installation of our products and services, We accept no responsibility for direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages or loss of profit.
